Introduction To Crisis Response: |
| Participants in my crisis response seminar will work as a team to create their own crisis response handbook. This handbook plan will provide response to various natural disasters, hazardous materials accidents, and radioactive accidents, acts of violence, terrorism, or illness. Security issues will also be addressed. While no plan is perfect, this planner provides guidelines in the event of most emergencies and crisis situations. |
| |
Crisis Response Team Development: |
| Upon completion of my seminar you will have an overall crisis response plan which will consist of a crisis response team, which may be made up of church and school staff members, parents of students, PTA members, local law enforcement, and public safety agencies. This plan will guide you when implementing of the crisis response team, including each team member’s role and responsibility in the aftermath of a crisis situation |
| |
Crisis Team Members and Their Responsibilities: |
| The crisis response team will become familiar with the responsibilities they would have in the event of a crises. The team should meet on a regular basis to educate themselves on correct procedures to follow during a crisis. In the event of a crisis, the team should meet immediately to asses the situation and determine whether the emergency/crisis plan should be put into effect. |
