Instructor Profile
 |
My name is Mike Landers and I have been in the field of education for the past 27 years. After completing active duty in the U.S. Navy in the early 1970s, I attended Floyd College, Lee University (BS), The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (MS), and The State University of West Georgia (Ed.S.). During my tenure as an educator, I have served as a teacher, an assistant principal, and as a principal. I presently serve as an educator in the North Metro Atlanta, Georgia area.
I have served on the Georgia Human Resources Committee along side many of those commissioned to provide school administrators with insight into crisis violence, prevention, and response. I have been a guest presenter for the League of Professional Schools. Furthermore, I have coordinated various crisis situations during my tenure as an educator.
I have been conducting Crisis Response courses for the past nine years and have trained both private and public educators and other individuals interested in crisis response within the corporate arena. The course is designed to take a proactive approach.
'A plan in hand' is the goal of the course. |
